Truckers Emergency Assistance Responders – T.E.A.R. is managed by working truck drivers. Our primary concern is helping stranded truck drivers get home safely with their belongings after carrier abandonment and becoming re-employed elsewhere if they wish to continue working in the same industry.
Here are some answers to frequently asked questions on our application process:
- What happens after I submit my application?
- If you are completing your application online, it will be sent to us automatically where we will review it with our leadership team and make contact with you.
- If you are having difficulty with the online application, you can print it and scan it or use the Adobe Fill and Sign App to complete it and send it as an attachment email cdltear@gmail.com
- How does the process work?
After receiving completed application, we will require a verification interview call for additional information. Next, a client case worker will verify the information you have provided and ask for you to sign a document that your answers are true and correct.
- A summary of your issue will be presented to our Review Committee by the client case worker for discussion on solutions and resources available.
- After a decision has been made, you will receive a call or email.
- If you are approved for financial assistance, Payments will be sent to companies directly when possible
*Please note that, due to the high volume of drivers needing assistance, we can only offer short-term help with a small portion of bills.

Yes
- We provide lawyer referrals, employee rights education and re-hire assistance with mentoring if you have less than 1 year in the industry.

Unfortunately No, we are not able to help with breakdown repairs.
